The Kalimera Kriti Hotel, a member of the Mantonanakis Group of companies, was once again voted among 100 of the most popular resorts in the world, by the top clients of the European tourist organization TUI.
The clients rate the election of the most popular hotels for the "TUI Holli" Award. On their return, a questionnaire is completed marking the standard of service for hotels worldwide.
The Kalimera Kriti Hotel is a resort, consisting of 400 villas and bungalows and located in Sissi, the province of Lassithi. An investment in excess of 23 million Euro is planned by the Mantonanakis Group in the next 3 years, aiming to expand with a new luxury hotel complex in the neighboring area.

The Kalimera Kriti Hotel is located at about 10 km, the city of Malia offers a small old town center, shops, restaurants and an animated night life.
The Kalimera Kriti Hotel is situated at a distance of about 35 minutes from the airport (45 km), and at 900 m from the village of Sissi, directly at the sea.
The former fishermen's village of Sissi has remained untouched all these years for a long time. Around the small village center and the picturesque little port you will find shops, taverns, kafenions (the traditional Greek coffeehouse) and only some small hotels.
At a distance of about 7 km, the archaeological site of Malia, with its remainders of the Palace of Malia, is a well-known and popular excursion destination. |
